Let one of our local running guides take you into the beautiful trails surrounding the capital city for an unforgettable bush and nature experience. You will see native birds, learn about the fauna and flora and also discover parts of the history behind Pōneke and Wellington. Learn about the special history of the area safely and at a pace that suits you and your group.

Your 2 hour guided run will be customised for your fitness levels and needs. Our guides bring all necessary safety equipment and spare water at all times. You will also have a secure locker for your belongings while you are out there.

Regardless of the weather, you will soon find yourself in our beautiful and scenic “Green Belt” that surrounds the harbour city. There is an endless web of trails that weave their way across the city, so let us show you the very best that the running capital of the world has to offer.

What to bring

  • Please come dressed in active ware.

  • Running shoes or running sandals.

  • Please bring a hat if sunny: The NZ sunshine is very harsh, even when cloudy or overcast.

  • Your guide will pack a first aid kit, EPIRB, water for all and snacks if needed.

  • Bring your phone for selfies at the top - naturally :)

  • You can also book a sauna with us to recover after your run!
